Braeden's short Film

I did this a while back for my film class and thought it would be fun to share with everyone. It was a short documentary that was supposed to show a process. But who cares what it was for; it's Braeden and he's being cute right?

Happy Mother's Day!!...and don't forget Happy Birthday Braeden!

So, what better to honor Mother's Day than to post some pictures of the MOST BEAUTIFUL little boys in the whole wide world! (No one will ever convince me otherwise!) So here we go!

I forgot that we had this little outfit...but I pulled it out...and Will looked so funny! To be honest, I think Braeden probably looked better in it...Will looks kind of goofy...but cute is cute!



And what could make the little bunny more perfect that to see him sleeping with his daddy!



Oh, my sweet little Will!



I think it is precious when Will holds his bottle by himself...because he is so little...and the bottle is so little...but it is big compared to him! But here...the bottle seemed to over-power him...and he conked out! Night-night, Will!



This picture embodies Will and his personality! On his tummy...because no matter what I do he won't stay on his back...limbs flailing everywhere...he just can't seem to get control of those...and smiling! He's always so happy! I just love it! I've never seen a happier baby! All smiles!



Asleep again! And again...can't keep this kid on his back. Completely face down, butt hanging off the couch! I thought it was soo funny! This is the work of his dad...by the way...I would never let him sleep like that!



It's funny, but Will is still getting used to the whole movement crawling thing...sometimes he goes backwards instead of forward...and sometimes those fat little legs get stuck underneath things...I guess we all get backed into a corner now and then...



Oh, Braeden! You're such a goof ball. He put this hat on and sat on the couch to read a book. But of course he knows what the camera is now...so I can't get a candid shot of him to save my life...eh...he's still adorable!




More baby Will...he's so cute!



We had to buy an play center for him at like 3 months! He just wants to stand all the time! He is soo ready to move! Braeden walked at 7.5 months...the same week he got his first teeth...but he didn't like these walkers...Will loves it! He spends probably 2 hours here every day! Braeden gets jealous...they have to learn to share the toys!




Braeden is a crazy grump when he wakes up both in the morning and after his naps.



But in general, he's a pretty happy kid!



He likes to get into the toy cupboard and play. He has a little toy latern...he turns that on and shuts the door. It's kind of wierd...but it makes him happy...I think he's playing with his cars...but I'm not sure...




I love his little tie! He's so handsome!



Braeden is so good about trying to help with Will. Sometimes it's not really help...it just makes Will mad...but he tries...he'll be a really great big brother!



They like to play together. Will just likes to watch Braeden...and Braeden usually gets mad...but in general they entertain each other so that I don't have to!



Will has become very interested in food...especially Braedens! I took these pictures this morning. Will was trying to steal Braeden's milk! Will thought it was funny...Braeden didn't!

Well, Braeden is a whopping 22 months old now with little Will trying to catch up at 4 months. Will is rolling over (front to back and back to front) and learning to hold his own bottle while Braeden is learning new words and phrases everyday and...a milestone for all of us...went potty in the potty for the very first time ever! YAY! The first of many...we hope...





After I took these pictures of Will right out of the bathtub, Ron finally saw what I've seen all along...Will looks not like Ron or I...but like Braeden! He looks just like Braeden! I guess they didn't quite break the mold...







I thought that it was really funny that Will looks exactly the same in all of these pictures while Braeden has a different expression in each of them...They are so good together. Braeden loves his little brother and takes very good care of him.






Braeden has become a cheeseball for the camera! Every time we get it out, he poses and smiles and jumps in the shot! He cracks me up! He is so cute!







This profile shot really makes Braeden look like his dad...at least I think so...

Okay, as a backstore to the picture below...some people wake up finding crop circles in their backyards...we wake up to car formations all over our house...tiny works of art all over the place! He lines the cars up all different ways: bumper to bumper; side to side; circles; lines; etc...but one morning...a truck got mixed up in all of this...and it didn't quit fit...so he had to get creative!

Oh, they grow so fast! I watch them with a little excitement and a little sadness. Excitement at all the new things they learn and do, and sadness because with every passing moment, they're less and less my little babies. I can't help but to sneak in to check on Braeden while he sleeps, even now.

You can see from these pictures that Will is growing like a weed! There is only a month or two difference between these two pictures. Look at how big he gets, how awake and aware. He's so sweet.

Will was blessed on 23 December 2007. Before everyone freaks out...my glasses are fake. Will wore the same outfit that Braeden wore...mostly because we couldn't really afford a new one...but partly because it seemed sort of a waste to spend a bunch of money on a new one when there was a perfectly good blessing outfit hanging in the closet never to be worn again by its original owner.

This is Braeden in his Sunday clothes. He wears a white shirt, though it never stays tucked in more than a minute or two, and a little tie. He's so cute. And of course, he is wearing one of his winter coats. He has two, though one of them just seems really big on him. Maybe he will be able to wear it next year. I love his cheesy grin!

I think Will looks scared or something in these pictures. He cracks me up!

Will and Braedens seem to get along pretty well. Will thinks Braeden is really funny and vice versa. Braeden seems to like Will quite a bit, although I think there are some jealousy issues. Sometimes Braeden will do mean things to Will, like kick him in the head and then running away yelling "SORRY!"

All in all, Braeden loves his little brother. He loves to take care of sweet little Will. Sometimes when Will cries, Braeden will rub his head and say, "Don't cry, baby. Don't cry, Will." Sometimes Braeden just rubs his head and says, "Nice, nice." He likes to grab the binkie and shove it in poor Will's mouth. He gets really excited when we change Will's diapers. He yells, "A MESS!!!" as soon as we open the diaper up. He laughs and waits impatiently to go throw the diaper in the trash.

They're both good kids. We have been so blessed to have them. We couldn't have asked for better boys. This last picture is Braeden. He was sitting in the Legos bucket, so I told Ron to go grab the camera. It was funny because as soon as Ron started taking pictures, Braeden started posing. He would turn and look back at us, or put his hands on his face and all kinds of things. This one was my favorite!
